Janet Cushing, OD

Janet Cushing, OD, is a UW Health optometrist (eye doctor). She provides comprehensive eye care services.

Janet treats glaucoma (damaged optic nerve), diabetic eye disease, age-related macular degeneration (vision loss) and dry eyes. She provides prescriptions for glasses and contact lenses. Janet also monitors eye health for people taking high-risk medications.

Janet’s care philosophy is that patients benefit from understanding their condition, what is causing their symptoms and how treatment can help. She believes taking the time to educate patients is always worth it.

In her free time, Janet enjoys gardening and plants.
