Heather Kooiman, MS, CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist specializing in adult swallowing dysphagia assessment and treatment at the UW Voice and Swallow Clinics. She has experience working with adults in the inpatient, outpatient, sub-acute and home health settings. Her areas of interest include head and neck cancer and use of instrumental swallowing assessments including video fluoroscopic swallow studies. She is certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and a member of the Swallowing and Swallowing Disorder special interest group.
