About

Hannah Koerten, PhD, is a UW Health clinical psychologist. She treats a full range of mental health concerns in children, adolescents and young adults.

Hannah treats anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), depression, sleep disorders, trauma-related symptoms, behavioral concerns and eating disorders. She uses strategies from evidence-based therapies to help her patients.

Through the behavioral sleep medicine program, Hannah treats insomnia and other sleep disorders in both children and adults.

She believes in a collaborative approach and works together with her patients and their parents or guardians to achieve their goals.

Hannah’s research focuses on studying children who have or may be at risk of developing anxiety disorders.

In her free time, she enjoys reading, playing soccer, volleyball and hiking with her partner and dog.

I decided to become a clinical psychologist so that I could help children, adolescents and their families work toward the life they want together.
