Hajnal (Dawn) Kinda, MD, is a UW Health internal medicine doctor. She provides medical care to adults in all stages of life. Dr. Kinda provides preventive care including well checks and annual physicals, treats acute (sudden) illnesses and injuries and manages chronic (long-term) conditions. Dr. Kinda is a clinical associate professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Dr. Kinda finds it rewarding to have a feeling of trust with her patients. She listens to them and pays attention to the details that can help her form a diagnosis. She enjoys following her patients over the years and being part of their health care journey. To help patients with a language barrier, Dr. Kinda works with interpreters who attend appointments with them when requested. She is pleased to offer this service to improve communication and ensure good care for all. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Kinda enjoys traveling, reading and exercising. I encourage my patients to be open and share the information I need to manage their conditions.
