About

Florencia Lowenthal Robison, MS, CCC-SLP, is a UW Health Kids speech-language pathologist. Florencia provides speech and language therapies for children and teens. She treats a wide range of conditions that affect how a child can communicate. These include speech delays and language disorders like speaking and pronouncing words clearly.

Her areas of focus include Gestalt language processing. This is another way to help children and teens understand and learn words and phrases. She also specializes in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) in speech therapy. AAC uses tablets, computers or other assistive devices to help nonverbal children and others overcome language barriers.

Florencia gives families the tools and education they need to keep improving their child's language skills. She helps them succeed at home and in other settings. She makes sure there’s steady support through the stages of development.

In her free time, Florencia enjoys spending time with family and friends. Her hobbies include home renovation projects and crafting.

My goal is to make a meaningful impact on children's health and development. It’s incredibly rewarding to help children find their voices and thrive in every setting.
