About

Erik Woodhouse, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner specializing in vascular (blood vessel) surgery.

Erik cares for patients in the hospital setting before and after vascular procedures and surgeries. He works as part of the vascular surgery team to treat patients with a wide range of blood vessel concerns, including peripheral arterial disease (narrowed or blocked blood vessels in the arms and legs) and venous insufficiency (damaged leg veins that limit blood flow back to the heart). He also has advanced training in placing dialysis accesses (access points to the blood supply for patients undergoing dialysis).

A former U.S. Navy hospital corpsman, Erik believes in patient-centered care. He works with patients to find solutions that fit their goals. Dedicated to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all patients, Erik offers comprehensive vascular care for the LGBTQ+ community.

I pride myself on providing patient-centered care and going the extra mile for my patients.
