Elizabeth Dolan, PA

Elizabeth Dolan, PA, is a physician assistant specializing in gastroenterology at UW Health. Elizabeth cares for patients with a wide variety of general gastrointestinal (GI) conditions. These digestive system disorders include abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, heartburn, swallowing disorders and bowel irregularities.

Elizabeth assists gastroenterologists and other specialists intreating common digestive disorders and manage more complicated diseases, including autoimmune conditions. She listens to patients to understand their health care journeys and treatment goals. She discusses treatment plans and — based on each patient’s input — she guides them as they make individualized decisions that help them achieve their goals.

Her educational background includes studying nutrition. Her work in this arena helped her to understand the impact of nutrition on overall health as well as gut and GI health. That experience sparked her interest in gastroenterology.

Elizabeth is motivated by exciting changes and growth on the horizon for medicine and gastroenterology. She looks forward to new research and development advances that will improve diagnostic and treatment approaches for her patients.
