Dorota Walkiewicz, MD

Dorota Walkiewicz, MD, is a UW Health Kids pediatric gastroenterologist and an associate professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.

Dr. Walkiewicz specializes in pediatric gastroenterology and hepatology, providing comprehensive care for children with a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions. Her clinical interests include the diagnosis and management of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) as well as other digestive disorders affecting children and adolescents.

In addition to her clinical expertise, Dr. Walkiewicz is trained in clinical hypnosis, which she uses as a supportive therapy for children with functional bowel disorders. This approach can help patients better manage symptoms such as abdominal pain and improve overall quality of life.
