Dawn Konop-Sage, CRNA

Dawn Konop-Sage, CRNA, is a UW Health nurse anesthetist. She provides anesthesia care to patients before, during and after surgery.

Dawn prepares patients for anesthesia, including physical assessment and preoperative teaching, administers anesthesia, maintains anesthesia during an operation, and provides pain management medications to patients before and during surgical procedures. She is also active in the management of recovery from anesthesia.

With prior experience working in the cardiothoracic intensive care unit (ICU) and extensive education in anesthesia, Dawn understands the importance of combining skill, knowledge, and compassion when caring for patients. She enjoys being part of a multidisciplinary care team for UW Health patients undergoing surgery.
