David Murray, MD, FACC

David Murray, MD, FACC, is a UW Health cardiovascular medicine provider who specializes in the care of patients with heart failure. He sees patients with advanced cardiovascular conditions, including those who may require heart transplantation or mechanical circulatory support.

Dr. Murray is a professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine. He is actively involved in medical education and serves as the director of the Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant Fellowship Program, where he helps train the next generation of cardiovascular specialists.

His clinical interests include advanced heart failure, heart transplantation and the medical management of transplant patients, as well as the use of mechanical circulatory support therapies.
