David Castellanos, PA, is a physician assistant at UW Health.
David takes time to get to know his patients and helps them manage acute and chronic conditions for optimal healing and wellness. He treats a wide-range of conditions, including foot and ankle disorders, joint pain, gastrointestinal disorders, atrial fibrillation (irregular heart rhythm), high blood pressure and blood disorders. He also treats inflammatory diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis and lupus.
In his free time, David enjoys running and has completed a few half marathons and marathons. He also enjoys gardening, reading and spending time with his family.
I try to build camaraderie and find common ground. As health providers, we can advise patients every day on health matters – whether it's blood pressure, weight, diabetes control or other issues – but they’re far more likely to invest time and effort into the appropriate therapies if they trust us.
