About

Dan Murray, PT, is a UW Health physical therapist. He provides care for patients who have orthopedic conditions affecting their bones, muscles, joints, tendons and ligaments.

Dan commonly works with patients who have chronic pain in the knees, neck, back and shoulders, injuries to the upper and lower extremities, dizziness and vertigo. He also treats patients who are recovering from recent surgical procedures such as total knee, hip or shoulder replacements, rotator cuff repairs, Achilles repairs and knee arthroscopies. In addition to individual patient care, Dan leads small group classes for patients recovering from total knee arthroplasties.

Dan personalizes care based on each patient’s unique needs. He listens to learn what’s important to them and creates treatment plans to help them get back to living life on their own terms. He strives to provide his patients with a clear understanding of their limitations and knowledge about their injuries.

In his free time, Dan enjoys exercising, camping, hiking, hunting, fishing, woodworking and watching the Packers and Bucks with family and friends.

I entered the medical field because I want to people return to their active and healthy lifestyles.
