Cynthia Orvis is a physical therapist and certified strength and conditioning specialist at UW Health. Cynthia evaluates and treats people who need physical therapy for orthopedic issues and injuries involving the bones, muscles, joints and ligaments.

Whether her patients are recovering from joint replacements, accidents or sports injuries, Cynthia works to help them increase function and achieve their goals.

Her clinical interests include helping patients prepare for joint replacement surgery and recover afterward. She also enjoys working with triathletes, rugby players and bikers.

As a certified strength and conditioning specialist, Cynthia uses her expertise to improve performance, reduce injuries, build confidence and teach the benefits of good nutrition.

In her free time, Cynthia enjoys biking, hiking and being outdoors. She is a former rugby player and enjoys watching the sport grow.

I meet my patients wherever they are in their journey. I encourage them to keep working to improve their skills, feel better and reach their goals.
