About

Cheri Milton, LMFT, is a UW Health licensed marriage and family therapist. As a behavioral therapist, she treats adult patients with mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression and family distress. Cheri has experience treating issues surrounding grief, loss, faith and religion. She also works with older adults.

Cheri loves to learn and constantly improve the care she offers patients. During therapy sessions, she brings acceptance and empathy to every interaction. Her goal is to provide the support, hope and validation people deserve.

Cheri’s professional mental health philosophy is to meet her patients where they are. She believes in tolerance, kindness and creating a positive connection so the patient feels safe, comfortable and open.

Outside of the clinic, Cheri enjoys speaking engagements geared toward a wide variety of groups.

I entered the behavioral health profession because of a long-held interest in human resiliency and our ability to overcome adversity.
