Charles Bergstrom, MD

Charles Bergstrom, MD, is a UW Health Kids pediatric critical care medicine doctor and an assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Critical Care at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. He cares for critically ill children in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

Dr. Bergstrom treats pediatric patients in the intensive care unit who have a wide range of critical illnesses such as acute respiratory failure, congenital heart disease and organ failure. He also provides care for patients waiting for organ transplants and those who need care following organ transplantation.

As a partner to patients and their loved ones, he helps them make decisions about their health. He feels honored to be a part of their healing journey.
