About

Cara Glynn is a UW Health nurse practitioner who specializes in Neurology. She cares for patients with a wide range of neurological conditions. These include headaches, strokes, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, movement disorders and other diseases that affect the brain and nervous system.

Cara has a special interest in geriatrics, which means she enjoys working with older adults and helping them manage their neurological health. She brings compassion and experience to her work, focusing on each patient’s unique needs.

Cara first entered the medical field because she was curious about health care and wanted to learn more. Over time, her passion grew stronger. Today, she finds meaning in sharing her knowledge to help others. She values building relationships with her patients and their families, and she believes that even small actions can make a big difference in someone’s life.

Outside of work, Cara enjoys expressing her creativity through art. She loves drawing, painting, sculpting, and crafting, and often finds ways to bring her artistic talents into her daily life and work. During the warmer months, she also enjoys spending time with her family on Lake Wisconsin.

Even if I can't make a difference in the world, I can make a difference for my patients.
