About

Brooke Kwiecinski, MD, is a UW Health Kids pediatric psychiatrist. She’s also an associate professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Dr. Kwiecinski cares primarily for children and adolescents with mental health problems. She regularly sees patients with depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), problems controlling emotions and impulses, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and autism.

Dr. Kwiecinski works to get to know each of her patients and their families. Having the full picture with multiple perspectives on the situation allows her to provide the best care for her patients. She finds it rewarding to follow her patients over time and see them grow and improve.

Outside of work, Dr. Kwiecinski enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors and staying active.

My care philosophy is to provide a comfortable environment, and then listen to patients and try to understand them.
