About

Beth DeGarmo, PA, is a UW Health physician assistant. Beth sees patients over the age of 18 for primary care and preventive health services.

She commonly cares for people with chronic health conditions, such as hypertension (high blood pressure), diabetes and asthma. Beth also treats acute (sudden-onset) health conditions, including cold or flu.

Beth has special clinical interests in the areas of women’s health, reproductive health and sexual health. She enjoys the internal medicine field because she continually learns from both her medical colleagues and her patients.

Outside of work Beth enjoys reading, knitting, cats and cooking.

I want to know my patients as people so I can understand what’s important to them and what motivates them. Then, I work to create a plan and a partnership for their care.
