Benjamin Schultz, NP, is a UW Health Kids nurse practitioner who specializes in neonatal (newborn) care.
Benjamin cares for newborns who need specialized treatment in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). He treats infants born with a wide range of health concerns, including critical illnesses and conditions related to premature birth. Benjamin’s special interest is using advanced techniques such as ultrasounds to guide medical procedures.
Benjamin feels privileged to help little patients overcome big challenges. From running practice simulations to providing hands-on care, Benjamin supports patients and their loved ones at every step of their health journey.
I’ve always known I wanted to work in the NICU. Despite its challenges, nothing is more rewarding than helping my young patients grow stronger.
