About

Benjamin (Ben) Kempfer is a UW Health physician assistant. He provides general health care to patients of all ages, from newborns to the elderly.

Ben provides primary care for patients in all stages of life. He diagnoses and treats acute (sudden) illnesses such as viruses and helps patients manage chronic (long-term) conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure and heart disease.

Ben believes that care begins with preventive medicine. He offers well-child visits and annual health screenings as well as cancer screenings and vaccinations. He also provides education about diet and exercise. His care philosophy is to offer the best help and advice to all his patients to help them live their healthiest lives.

Ben enjoys getting to know the people in his community and building relationships with them over the years. He shows respect to his patients by listening carefully to their concerns and promptly following up on any questions or messages they have after their visit. Knowing that every patient is different, he personalizes care plans to meet their specific needs and goals.

Outside of the clinic, Ben enjoys traveling, camping, golfing and spending time with his family.

I try to help my patients be the best version of themselves and the healthiest version of themselves.
