Autumn Ries, NP

Autumn Ries, NP, is a nurse practitioner at the UW Health Cardiac Surgery Clinic. She provides surgical care to patients with conditions related to the heart and its connected blood vessels.

Autumn’s primary care philosophy is to provide high-quality, compassionate care that is both therapeutic and respectful of everyone. In addition, she is committed to empowering patients by educating them and their families about their unique health circumstances.

Outside work, Autumn enjoys being outdoors — hiking, swimming and gardening — and spending time with family and friends.

I’ve always wanted to help others be the best version of themselves. I feel like by educating patients, making them aware of their options, I can really help them come to a decision that they’re comfortable with and advocate for their preferences.
