Atalie Andersen, NP, is a nurse practitioner at UW Health. She treats a variety of cardiac conditions in patients of all ages.
As a cardiology nurse practitioner, Atalie cares for patients with a range of heart disorders, including heart failure, coronary artery disease (CAD), arrhythmias (abnormal heart rhythms) and valve disease.
After working as an ICU nurse in the cardiothoracic surgery and transplant unit, Atalie recognized her love of helping others. With a passion for building meaningful relationships, Atalie takes time to listen and connect with her patients to ensure that they understand all aspects of their conditions, exams and test results. She believes that the most rewarding part of caring for people is helping them feel knowledgeable and empowered by their diagnosis and treatment plans.
Outside of work, Atalie enjoys spending quality time with her family and exploring the great outdoors.
I strive to treat everyone with respect, appreciate everyone's unique situation and provide a holistic approach to health care.
