About

Arturo (Roy) Lazaro, PT, is a UW Health physical therapist. Arturo treats people with sports injuries and other musculoskeletal conditions (problems with the muscles, bones, joints, ligaments, tendons and cartilage). He also helps patients regain their strength and mobility as they recover from surgery.

Using carefully designed exercises, equipment and movement techniques, Arturo works to relieve his patients’ pain and improve their ability to function and enjoy life. Arturo is also skilled in manual therapy. This technique uses hands-on movement to treat muscles and joints.

As a physical therapist, Arturo believes it’s important to listen to his patients. He evaluates their conditions and asks about their symptoms and concerns. Arturo and his patients set goals and create personalized treatment plans to help them reach those goals.

My philosophy is to listen well to my patients. I involve them in setting goals that are specific to their needs and help them live life fully.
