Angela Tess, MS, LGC

Angela Tess, MS, CGC, is a certified genetic counselor in the Oncology Genetics Clinic and the Breast Center at UW Health. She works with patients who have a personal or family history of cancer that may have a hereditary or genetic cause.

Angela offers both genetic risk assessment and counseling services. She recommends appropriate cancer screening steps and counsels patients dealing with rare forms of cancer or earlier than average diagnoses, as well as those who have multiple family members diagnosed with the same type of cancer.

Angela strongly believes in preventative health care. She enjoys educating families about their potential cancer risk and introducing proactive measures they can take to reduce future cancer diagnoses. With her counsel, patients feel empowered and informed.

Outside of work, Angela enjoys spending time with her husband, children and extended family. She also loves to cook, bake, read and garden.
