About

Dr. Braun is the director of the University of Wisconsin Adult Cystic Fibrosis Program. Along with the cystic fibrosis care team, his primary focus is in improving the lives of those living with CF. 



Additionally, Dr. Braun has clinical expertise in lung transplantation, bronchiectasis, mycobacterial lung disease, and breathing disorders of sleep. 



Dr. Braun is a native of Wisconsin and attended the University of Wisconsin for his undergraduate and medical school training. He completed an internal medicine residency at the University of California--San Francisco, and a clinical/research fellowship in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. He has a Master of Health Science degree in clinical investigation from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
