About

Andrea Jones, MD, is a UW Health Kids pediatrician and a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.

Dr. Jones cares for the physical and mental health of children and young adults from birth to their early 20s.

Dr. Jones performs annual wellness exams and treats pediatric medical issues ranging from common ear infections, skin rashes and illnesses like the flu, to more chronic or complex health conditions such as autism, anxiety and depression. Dr. Jones has a special interest in caring for children with special needs, including behavioral issues, learning differences and other neurodivergent conditions.

Believing that building relationships with families is a privilege, Dr. Jones practices “generous listening.” She listens to learn as much as possible about her young patients’ health and well being in order to offer helpful, individualized solutions and care plans. She also encourages questions during every visit.

In her free time, Dr. Jones enjoys spending time with her own children, cooking, gardening, cycling, swimming, watching movies and creating art.

All children deserve high-quality medical and mental health care so they can thrive, become the best version of themselves and grow into healthy adults.
