About

Amy Plumb, MD, is a pediatrician at UW Health and an associate professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, Department of Pediatrics. She treats conditions ranging from complex problems in premature babies and newborns to colds, ear infections, depression and anxiety in children, adolescents and young adults.

Dr. Plumb partners with patients and families to determine the best care plans and coordinates with specialty pediatricians for patients with complicated or multiple disorders. Dr. Plumb continues to care for her young patients as they transition into adulthood.

As a researcher, she studies ways to improve clinical care and workflow in general pediatric clinics and urgent care centers.

In her free time, Dr. Plumb enjoys cooking, walking, running and traveling.

I enjoy the challenge of diagnosing a tough case and helping my patients get better. I educate patients and families about conditions and how to stay well and healthy.
