Amy Proebstle, NP

Amy Proebstle, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner. As a hospital medicine specialist in internal medicine, she cares for patients throughout their hospital stay.

Amy treats patients for conditions including infections, cardiac (heart and blood vessel) concerns and gastrointestinal (GI) disorders. She responds to changing diagnostic and treatment needs during their hospital stay. She also offers specialized palliative (comfort) care and end-of-life care.

With a compassionate approach, she sees each patient and their providers as a team. Amy strives to meet each patient’s unique goals. She helps make their hospital experience positive.

In her free time, Amy enjoys reading, attending her kids’ sporting events and traveling.
