About

Amy Carter, PTA, is a UW Health physical therapy assistant. She provides outpatient physical therapy for people with various injuries and neurological (nervous system) conditions.

Amy offers rehabilitative care for patients with orthopedic (bone and muscle) issues and those recovering from brain and spinal cord injuries. She helps people with brain disorders like Parkinson’s disease and neurological conditions such as multiple sclerosis. She also works with patients who have experienced a stroke or have had lower limb amputations.

Amy recognizes that the road to recovery doesn’t always go by the book. That’s why she meets people where they are to deliver personalized support. Amy looks forward to sharing her patient’s excitement as they achieve their health goals.

As an avid animal lover, Amy spends her free time beekeeping.

I strive to provide creative treatments for each patient’s unique goals. Their accomplishments are my greatest joy.
