About

Amanda (Mandy) Jackson, MD, is a pediatrician at UW Health.

Dr. Jackson cares for children of all ages, from the newborn stage through the early 20s. She provides well-child exams and treats acute and chronic illnesses — everything from ear infections, respiratory illnesses and strep throat to asthma, seizure disorders and cystic fibrosis.

With a passion for building relationships, Dr. Jackson enjoys talking with her young patients and their parents and listening to their needs. She believes that good health takes teamwork. She provides the latest medical guidance to help children overcome illness and offers educational information for families to help their loved ones stay healthy and well.

Dr. Jackson also serves as a clinical associate professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, Department of Pediatrics and works with the Child Protection team to offer compassionate education and safety resources for families along with providing medical care to young patients who may have experienced abuse.

During her free time, Dr. Jackson enjoys nature, hiking, sports, live music and playing with her dog.

Good health is more than eating fruits and vegetables. It’s complete physical and mental health. We want our patients to grow up being happy and productive.
