About

Allison (Allie) Miller, MD, is a UW Health dermatologist at who cares for both children and adults. She is also an assistant professor in the Department of Dermatology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.

Dr. Miller treats a wide range of skin, hair and nail conditions, including acne, eczema, warts and birthmarks such as infantile hemangiomas. Her special interests include pediatric oncodermatology, which focuses on skin problems caused by cancer treatments in children. She also works to expand access to dermatology care across the state by supporting education and outreach for primary care teams, especially in rural communities.

Dr. Miller’s approach to care centers on building strong connections with patients and families. She believes trust and listening are the foundation of good health care. By meeting patients where they are and understanding their daily lives, she creates care plans tailored to each individual. She is especially mindful of helping children feel safe and comfortable in medical settings, knowing these early experiences can shape how they view health care for life.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Miller enjoys spending time with her family and exploring everything Madison has to offer. She loves local sports, farmers markets, parks as well as children’s museums. She values being active in her community.
