About
Aileen Peregrino, PT, is a UW Health physical therapist. She sees people who’ve had orthopedic injuries, including issues with their spine, shoulders, hips, knees and ankles. She also helps patients recover after surgery or illness.
During therapy sessions, Aileen listens carefully to each patient to understand how their condition affects their daily routine. She creates personalized care plans to help patients regain strength and increase the function of their muscles, bones and joints. She also works to reduce pain and improve balance.
Aileen provides pelvic floor physical therapy to help people manage urinary and bowel symptoms. When the muscles in the pelvic floor weaken or don’t work properly, people may experience incontinence (loss of bladder or bowel control), constipation and pain. Aileen offers education and special exercises to relieve these symptoms.
During her free time, Aileen enjoys gardening, volunteering and spending time with family.
I treat patients as if they are family or friends. I help each person feel better, improve function and achieve their highest level of independence.
