About

Lauren Golla, PsyD, is a health psychologist at UW Health. She provides medical psychology services to patients admitted to UW Health Rehabilitation Hospital — an acute inpatient rehabilitation facility.

Lauren specializes in rehabilitation psychology with a focus on adjustment to injury, illness and new onset disability. She also specializes in neuropsychology and neurorehabilitation, providing cognitive assessment and treatment for patients following acquired brain injury (such as traumatic brain injury, stroke and cognitive changes related to critical illness).

In her practice, she works with patients and their families to provide education and support. She advocates for people with disabilities to optimize their quality of life and independence.

In addition, Lauren passionately supports projects that enhance quality of care, communication among interdisciplinary teams, and interventions directly related to clinical care.

I am focused on providing patient-centered care with individual treatment plans that support each patient’s primary goals.
