Dr. Lauren Golla practices health / medical psychology at UW Health Rehabilitation Hospital (an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting). She specializes in rehabilitation psychology with a focus on adjustment to injury / illness, new onset disability, and disability advocacy, as well as neuropsychology within a rehabilitation setting with patients who have sustained traumatic brain injury, stroke, and cognitive changes related to critical illness. She is passionate about providing excellent patient care within an interdisciplinary team setting. She earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Hartford Graduate Institute of Professional Psychology. Dr. Golla completed her pre-doctoral internship at the University of Missouri Department of Health Psychology, after which she completed a two-year fellowship in rehabilitation psychology at Hurley Medical Center in Flint, MI. She is licensed within the states of Wisconsin and Michigan, and eligible for board certification in rehabilitation psychology and neuropsychology.
