Zachary Goldberger, MD

Zachary Goldberger, MD, is a UW Health cardiologist and a professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. He specializes in interventional cardiac electrophysiology; a branch of cardiology focused on treating the heart’s electrical systems.

Dr. Goldberger diagnoses and treats abnormal heart rhythm disorders. He cares for patients with a variety of arrhythmias (abnormal heartbeats). These include atrial and ventricular fibrillation (rapid, irregular heartbeats), atrial flutters (rapid, regular heartbeats) and tachycardias (abnormally fast heart rate).

Dr. Goldberger appreciates the importance of patient-centered care and strives to help people in meaningful ways. He partners with his patients to help them understand their conditions and find treatments that fit their goals.
