About

Timothy McCulloch, MD, FACS, is a UW Health otolaryngologist who specializes in head and neck cancer. He’s also a professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in the Department of Surgery.

Dr. McCulloch performs advanced surgical procedures for adults and children with ear, nose and throat conditions. He specializes in treating head and neck cancer, voice disorders and swallowing issues. He also performs trauma, reconstruction and skull base surgery.

When meeting with patients, Dr. McCulloch assures them that they’ve come to the right place. He takes time to listen to their concerns, answer questions and calm their fears. Dr. McCulloch wants patients to know that he and his team will deliver outstanding treatment and personalized care.

When caring for children, Dr. McCulloch helps his young patients feel at ease by talking with them directly. He includes children in the conversation and uses language they can understand.

Dr. McCulloch’s goal is to help his patients recover from their medical issues and return to a high-quality, functional life.

In addition to performing surgery, Dr. McCulloch conducts extensive research to improve treatment for swallowing disorders.

During his free time, Dr. McCulloch enjoys travel, golf and boating.
