About

Megan Moreno, MD, MSEd, MPH, is a UW Health Kids pediatrician and a professor and interim chair of the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She specializes in caring for teenage patients, and previously served as academic chief of the division of general pediatrics and adolescent medicine.

Dr. Moreno enjoys helping teens start learning how to care for themselves and make their own health care decisions. She strives to help each patient realize their passions through sound physical and mental health habits.

A renowned expert on the impact of social media on teenagers, Dr. Moreno’s research team seeks to advance society’s understanding of the relationship between social media and adolescent health. She has received dozens of honors for her insightful focus and dedication to this highly relevant topic of medical research.

During her free time, Dr. Moreno enjoys hiking and camping.

Adolescent medicine is one of the most exciting aspects of pediatrics. It’s when patients start learning how to navigate the health system and learning how to take care of themselves. I love being part of that stage of their journey.
