Leah O'Connell, NP

Leah O'Connell, NP, is a nurse practitioner at UW Health. Leah treats a wide range of heart conditions in adults, including heart disease, coronary artery disease (CAD), arrhythmias, atrial fibrillation (AFib), high blood pressure and high cholesterol. She provides acute care in the hospital and follow-up care in the clinic setting.

Leah’s care philosophy is to talk to her patients in order to understand their health needs and goals. She believes the only way she can help her patients is to first listen to them.

In her free time, Leah enjoys reading books and spending time with her family and dog. She also enjoys running, playing tennis and sewing.

I want to help patients understand what is going on in their body as well as their diagnosis.
