About

Eliza Harrold, PA, is a UW Health physician assistant. Eliza cares for patients who are hospitalized with kidney diseases or disorders.

Eliza works with nephrologists (kidney doctors) and other specialists to diagnose and treat patients who have advanced kidney disease, traumatic kidney injuries or complex kidney disorders. She also helps patients with kidney failure caused by other conditions such as diabetes or high blood pressure. Eliza helps identify the causes of kidney injuries and guides care and healing throughout a patient’s hospital stay.

Eliza’s patient-centered approach includes listening and understanding people’s concerns — from their first visit through the day they’re discharged from the hospital. She answers questions and offers education and personalized guidance to help patients reach their health goals. She provides safe, effective ways to enhance healing, improve kidney health and manage chronic conditions after they leave the hospital.

In her free time, Eliza enjoys gardening, traveling and spending time with her family.

It’s rewarding to form relationships, guide patients through difficult times and help them get better.
