Dr. Bennett is the recipient of the Dennis D. and Lynn F. Christensen Professorship in Family Planning. She is certified by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

After training in the UW-Madison department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Bennett says she chose to remain with UW Health because of their dedication to providing excellent patient care and commitments to continuous improvement and quality. She values the department’s constant push to improve health outcomes in the community, state, and beyond.

Dr. Bennett's clinical interests include contraception and reproductive life plans, long-acting reversible contraception (LARC), Nexplanon and IUD insertion and sexual function and contraceptive impact. Among her other interests are cervical cancer screening and prevention, benign ovarian pathology and a variety of minimally invasive surgeries.

In addition to her practice, Dr. Bennett is dedicated to teaching family planning in order to help women develop a reproductive life plan and increase the use of the most effective forms of contraception. She serves as director of the Ryan Program for residency training in family planning in the UW Department of Ob-Gyn. In addition, she provides clinical services through Planned Parenthood.
