Dipesh Navsaria, MD

About

Dipesh Navsaria, MD, is a UW Health Kids pediatrician. He provides urgent care for infants, children and adolescents with a wide range of acute injuries and illnesses.

Dr. Navsaria is committed to providing exceptional patient care and is a strong advocate for children’s physical, mental and social health.

As a passionate supporter of early childhood literacy, Dr. Navsaria works closely with Reach Out and Read, a national initiative to make literacy promotion a standard part of pediatric primary care. He has a master’s degree in children’s librarianship.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Navsaria is a professor of pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health where he also serves as medical director of the Physician Assistant Program and is an outreach faculty fellow for the Child Development Lab in the School of Human Ecology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. 

Outside of work, Dr. Navsaria is interested in vexillology, the study of the history, symbolism and use of flags.

Working with children, I have a chance to prevent many of the health issues I’ve seen in adults, such as obesity.
