About

Andrea Ildi Martonffy, MD, is a family medicine doctor at UW Health and an associate professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, Department of Family Medicine and Community Health where she also serves as the residency program director.

Dr. Martonffy provides routine checkups and preventive and curative care for people of all ages to help them manage their health. She also treats acute pain, injuries, illnesses and chronic conditions, including diabetes, high blood pressure, arthritis and heart disease. With a special interest in breastfeeding, Dr. Martonffy also offers guidance and information to new mothers who breastfeed their babies.

Outside of her practice, Dr. Martonffy participates in triathlon events (running, cycling and swimming) and enjoys reading and knitting as forms of stress management.

It’s rewarding to see people in all stages of life on any given day. I support patients through their challenges. I encourage them to ask anything – no question is too big or too small. My goal is to help people be as healthy as possible so they can live the life they want.
