Acerca de
Victoria Nicksic, MD, is a UW Health Kids pediatric endocrinologist. She specializes in treating children with hormone-related health conditions. Dr. Nicksic is also a clinical instructor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, Department of Pediatrics, where she continues to be involved in research.
Dr. Nicksic helps children with differences in their hormone systems. This includes conditions like diabetes, growth problems, and puberty changes. She is especially interested in working with school nurses to support kids with chronic health needs and is researching stress in adolescents with long-term medical conditions. She enjoys seeing a wide variety of patients and learning more about each area of endocrinology.
Dr. Nicksic believes in building strong relationships with her patients and their families. She knows that many of her patients will see her for years, so she works hard to create trust and open communication. She listens carefully, explains things clearly, and makes sure families understand the care plan and feel comfortable asking questions.
Outside of work, Dr. Nicksic enjoys spending time with her husband and children. After finishing her medical training, she now spends her free time doing whatever her family enjoys most. She finds joy in the little moments and loves learning new things from her young patients, especially when they share fun stories or teach her about current trends.
My hope for each one of my patients is that they leave visits with me feeling better and knowing that if they have questions or concerns, they can always reach out to me.
