Susan Marten, NP, is a  nurse practitioner at UW Health. Susan cares for adults with both acute and chronic health issues — everything from injuries, flu and allergies to diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. She also provides health care for patients assigned female at birth and physicals. With a passion for preventive care, Susan enjoys educating patients about how positive lifestyle habits can prevent illness. She also explains how those healthy habits in combination with prescribed medicine can help control existing chronic health conditions. Using a team approach, Susan offers patients several treatment options whenever possible and follows up over time to reevaluate and make adjustments as needed. Away from the clinic, Susan enjoys spending time outdoors hiking and gardening. The most rewarding part of my job is working together with patients and creating a plan to help them live their healthiest lives possible.
