About

Pamela Propeck, MD, FACR, is a UW Health radiologist and a professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She is also the GHC Mammography Lead Physician.

Dr. Propeck uses imaging technologies to screen for breast cancer and other diseases. Dr. Propeck performs needle biopsies and uses mammography, ultrasound and MRI to evaluate and diagnose breast abnormalities. She collaborates with surgeons to identify and solve problems and guide treatment for breast lesions and breast tissue disorders.

In addition to her clinical practice and teaching at the UW School of Medicine and Public Health, Dr. Propeck is the American Board of Radiology (ABR) trustee representing breast imaging. She collaborates with ABR specialists in the Diagnostic Radiology Division to advance standards of education across all disciplines of radiology.

Dr. Propeck is also an expert image reviewer with the American College of Radiology (ACR). She reviews breast and breast biopsy cases from across the country to ensure that high quality standards are met.

In her free time, Dr. Propeck enjoys hiking, travel and gardening.
