Natalie Wheeler, MD, JD, is a UW Health neurologist and an associate professor in the Department of Neurology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She specializes in diagnosis and treatment of stroke and other conditions affecting the brain and nervous system.
Dr. Wheeler cares for people who have had a stroke or who are at risk of stroke. She evaluates patients using detailed medical histories, neurological exams and diagnostic testing to understand the cause and effects of a stroke. She develops personalized treatment plans focused on recovery, managing symptoms and reducing the risk of future strokes.
Dr. Wheeler is committed to patient-centered care and clear communication. She works closely with patients and their families to help them understand their condition, treatment options and steps they can take to support their health and recovery.
