About

Mitchell Daun, MD, is a UW Health radiologist and a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Dr. Daun works with the Division of Community Radiology to bring quality health care to Madison’s local communities.

Dr. Daun uses advanced diagnostic scans, including X-rays, CT scans and MRIs, to identify a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. He also performs image-guided procedures such as joint injections, to help patients manage conditions like osteoarthritis (a degenerative joint disease caused by wear and tear).

Dedicated to relieving people’s discomfort, Dr. Daun prioritizes prompt results. He firmly believes in collaborative care and views his patient as the most important member of the team. He strives to set clear expectations by actively listening to them and making sure they understand their treatment options. He looks forward to working with his patients to achieve positive results.

Outside of work, Dr. Daun enjoys trivia competitions, playing board games and pursuing his passion for cinema.

I strive to demystify the health care process and empower my patients to achieve their goals.
