Margo Reeder, MD, is a dermatologist at UW Health and an associate professor in the Department of Dermatology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She treats patients with a variety of skin conditions, including skin cancer, psoriasis, atypical moles, dermatitis, eczema and acne. Dr. Reeder specializes in treating allergic contact dermatitis and performs patch tests to help diagnose the condition. It's very important for Dr. Reeder to listen to her patients to understand their skin condition. She discusses personal care products, workplace exposure or clothing that may trigger a skin reaction. The most rewarding part of caring for patients is when Dr. Reeder can help someone who has been struggling for a long time. As a dermatologist, Dr. Reeder understands that skin conditions can affect a person’s quality of life. By treating these visible diseases, she can positively impact their wellbeing. She also understands there are many ways to treat a disease, and she works with the patient to create a treatment plan that works for everyone. In her free time, Dr. Reeder enjoys exercising, going to events around Madison and spending time with family. My hope is that after my patients go through treatment, they're able to live their lives without the burden of skin disease and focus on their work, friends and family.
