Lauren Wahl, MS, CCC-SLP, is a UW Health Kids speech-language pathologist.
Lauren evaluates and treats children who have speech and language impairments. Fluid in both English and Spanish, she has special clinical interests in language disorders and their impact on literacy, speech sound disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, fluency disorders and the impact of executive functioning deficits on communication.
Lauren listens carefully to families’ experiences, concerns and input. She partners with them to identify and implement strategies that will best help each child to reach their goals. She strives to build supportive, trusting relationships that enable families to carry on the work done in therapy sessions and translate it into real-world success.
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys dancing, reading and snuggling with her two cats, Bagel and Millie.
