Laura Ozkan, PA

Laura Ozkan, PA, is a UW Health physician assistant specializing in neurology. She provides care to patients who have had a stroke.  

Laura helps patients navigate every phase of their stroke recovery. She works with individuals to identify the next steps in their care and determine risk factors and potential causes for future strokes. She collaborates with the neurology team to provide preventive support and routine follow-up care.  

Understanding the fear and uncertainty that many people face after experiencing a stroke, Laura strives to provide compassionate, patient-centered care. She believes that listening is everything and enjoys getting to know her patients and their loved ones. A supporter of shared decision-making, she educates patients on their conditions and helps them find options that fit their needs.  

In her free time, Laura enjoys cooking gourmet meals with her family.
