Kyla Bennett, MD, FACS is a UW Health vascular surgeon who diagnoses and treats diseases of the arteries, veins and lymphatic system, including conditions such as carotid artery disease, aortic aneurysms, peripheral artery disease and varicose veins. Dr. Bennett is also an associate professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.
Dr. Bennett evaluates patients through medical histories, physical exams and advanced imaging studies. They develop individualized treatment plans that may include lifestyle changes, medications, minimally invasive endovascular procedures or open surgery to restore blood flow and prevent complications.
Providing compassionate, patient-centered care is a priority for Dr. Bennett. They emphasize clear communication and shared decision-making, helping patients and their families understand their condition, treatment options and strategies for long-term vascular health.

Investigación y publicaciones
Dr. Bennett's research interests include socioeconomic effects on outcomes of vascular disease and vascular surgery, as well as methods to mitigate these effects. Her interests also include patient-centered decision making – improving assessment of patient-specific comorbidity and operative outcome risk assessment and delivering this information to the patient.
